The 20th Anniversary of Betty Griffin House will be celebrated on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the World Golf Village Renaissance Resort. This celebration recognizes 20 years for Betty Griffin House delivering quality services and protection to over 15,000 St. Johns County adults and children who desperately need help breaking the cycles of domestic and sexual abuse. This special semi-formal event will be a magical night of entertainment for all who attend. Come experience live music, belly dancing, zumba, drum and cymbal percussionists, have your caricature painted by an artist and many more acts! Tickets are $75 per person or $600 for a table of 10. As a private, nonprofit agency, Betty Griffin House provides emergency shelter to abused women, men and their minor children. Other support services available to shelter residents and non residents include a 24-hour crisis hotline, individual and group counseling, forensic/medical rape exams, and legal assistance. Confidential individual and group counseling is available in all parts of St. Johns County including, Hastings, Ponte Vedra Beach, St. Johns, St. Augustine and St. Augustine Beach.
