What: 

The 25th Annual Empty Bowls Luncheon will be held today in an effort to meet the growing needs in our community and to promote hunger awareness, raise much-needed funds, and show support for one of the nation's most solvable social issues ... food insecurity. Area students and senior citizen groups have created original, hand-crafted ceramic bowls for every guest, who will be able to select just the right bowl to take home. Personalities from the national stage have also lent their names to the cause. Along with a simple meal served by local celebrities, there will be handcrafted bowls, a silent auction, celebrity-autographed bowls, live pottery demonstrations, and entertainment by area musicians and school groups. Doors open at 11am.
